Flame Test Lab

We took a couple different chemicals and put them over a flame to see what happens. Different chemicals had different reaction in the flame. Some chemicals were red, orange, pink, sparked then turned green, green, and red and green.

I was only here to get part A done. 

1. mass of apparatus befor mixing, trile 1, trile 2, trile 3

                                                4.248 g, 5.059 g, 4.317 g

2. observation on mixting, trile 1, trile 2, trile 3

                                    4.250 g, 5.052 g, 4.301 g 

Scientific Observations

Prober scientific proseger is to make careful observations.
-the copper chloride turnd green and started desalving.
-after sturing the water started turning blue.
-water turned a cloudy blue.
-the tinfoile sunk but flowted back up.
-the tinfoile started turning a copper color.
-tinefoile started desalving
-the foil started bracking apart.
-the out side of the foil was copper but inside was sliver coloring.
-the water is a dark cloudy blue.
Then we let the tinefoil sit over night. The next moring we finished the lab.
-the water is clear.
-the tinfoil desalved.
-there was red stuff at the bottom of the glass.
-after puting the cemicals in the red stuff desalved.
-water started geting clear.
-then water started turning blue.
-the tube started geting warm.
- the red stuff at the top side of the tube turned green.
